The country I'd like to visit

Hi! First of all, my dream's life is to travel all over the world, but if I have to choose, I've always wanted to visit is England, specifically, London.

I think it's a fascinating place, very beautiful and exciting. What I know, is that you can find all kind of interesting things, as museums, Hyde Park, London eye, Tower Bridge or Big Ben, Soho area and Abbey Road. Well, and I’d like to go to Cambridge, for example, or Liverpool, so I can travel through the English countryside, full of green fields and hills, and go to Stonehenge to see the famous archaic monument. Other thing I’d like to do there, though it’s kind of nerd, is going to the building and places where the movies harry potter was filmed. I admit I’m still a harry potter fan and is my obligation to go there.

I expect that after I finish my career I can study a master abroad, and I’d really like to go to english universities as Cambridge or Oxford, but not stay forever. I think it would very difficult to me to live so far away of my family  and friends for a long time and leave my Chilean habits, like eating avocado al tea time, Christmas in summer, national holidays and eating “chrimoya” (mi favorite fruit).

First time blogging

Hi there! I’m Catalina, and this is my first time blogging. I’ve had a lot of friends that wrote feeling, thoughts, and their life in general in their blogs, but I’ve never been into the technology, social networks and stuff. I have facebook, that’s all.


I chose the English class because I’ve always wanted to learn this language so I can travel over the world in the future (or at least go to an English-spoken country, like USA or England), or even have post-degree studies in a foreign country. So, I hope that writing in my blog will help me to progress in my writing and reading abilities, because are important skills that I want to improve. Also, I wish this blogging experience turn out to be fun, challenging, so I have to make an effort to learn new things, motivating, and allow me to learn more about my classmates.


Finally, I think it would be interesting to write about our favorites books, movies, music, travels or places we’d like to visit, pets… etcetera.
